PROIV
PROIV is a Rapid Application Development (RAD) tool from NorthgateArinso. It is our primary choice for
software development and we have been using it since 1988. PROIV offers independence from
technologies and platforms, is scalable for any size business, and performance is excellent. It also
allows us to develop software in significantly less time than using traditional languages such as Java or
.NET. We design and implement our solutions in a browser based UI (user interface) for easy
deployment in-house or over the web without the need for high end desktop workstations.
We currently develop our new software in Version 6.2. But, if you have the need for enhancements or maintenance to a system you have running in an older version, we have many years of experience using VIP and Native modes as well.

While PROIV is our primary development platform, our staff is experienced in a number of popular
programming and scripting languages, including Java, C++, Visual Basic, and .NET.
PlanetPress Suite

PlanetPress Suite from Objectif Lune is a tool that allows us to create business documents and reports
from a wide variety of sources. We have used PlanetPress since 1998 for many types of applications.
We have taken old green bar reports and reimaged them into more modern graphical output. We have
designed many complex forms (invoices, applications, insurance policies) that gathered input from a
variety of sources (ASCII files, database, old print files, pdf's) and produced electronic documents with
multiple copies routed to printer queues for hardcopy and mailing, TIF's and PDF's for electronic
storage, and e-mail for distribution. This product gives us the capability to do this for you without the
need for changes to your existing software.
This tool also gives us the capability to assist you with document management and workflow. A watch process is set up to monitor for the availability of any number of data sources that are then captured and routed through PlanetPress processes built by us. The result is the creation of electronic documents that can be routed to desktops, e-mail folders, central repositories, or interfaced to other content management and workflow systems. The result is a paperless office with documents and reports delivered, or made available to, the appropriate staff members, affiliates or customers.

Oracle
Oracle is one of the most widely used databases worldwide and is our preferred database platform. At
one time it was generally viewed as a product for very large companies because of its cost and the
resources required to maintaining it at a peak performance. But the company has made it more
affordable and easier to maintain. It can run on multiple operating systems and is easily scalable. It has
allowed us to have a single database platform that works well for any type of business and any size
business.

We have worked with a number of other databases over the years. If you have a system already in place
at your facility, or simply prefer another product, we are happy to work with the database of your
choice.
Linux
Linux refers to the family of Unix-like computer operating systems using the Linux kernel. Linux can be
installed on a wide variety of computer hardware, ranging from mobile phones, tablet computers and
video game consoles, to mainframes and supercomputers. Linux is the leading server OS (Operating
Systems), accounting for more than 50% of installations and runs the top 10 fastest supercomputers in
the world

Windows
Windows is by far the most recognized desktop in the business world. While we may have our software
on the server side running on the Linux OS, all of our client side application UI's (user interface) are
either browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) or Windows based. There is never a need for your staff
to replace the desktops they are accustomed to when using any software products we build for you.
